ARMS provides direction for youth and young adults to break the cycle of poverty through education, job skills, leadership development and social empowerment.

Academic Development is to provide an educational environment that will develop each student intellectually, academically, and emotionally. We’re committed to helping children and youth from all backgrounds, to understand their true potential and ability to achieve higher educational standards, as well as developing social skills amongst their peers. Our main focus are those young people that face socio-economic risk each day.

By creating  Anti-Bullying campaigns such as "Stop the Bull" will educate children, the importance of "Non-Violence" activity in the educational system.  We will be able to empower students to interact socially with each other. Our goal is to support children's desire to be life-long learners. Each child deserves the right to succeed.

There are several factors which contribute to poverty in inner-city Los Angeles. High rates of immigration and unemployment and low rates of education are among the chief contributing factors leading to these conditions in LA. "There's no question that if you track economic inequality, it has grown in Los Angeles," (Paul Ong - UCLA's Center for Neighborhood Knowledge)
